OBJECTIVES

The learner will:

  • Understand the definition of motivation and how it can apply to yourself and others
  • Discover what values and beliefs are and how they can limit your motivation and success
  • Learn the importance and rewards gained by effective self-motivation
  • Learn the ‘ingredients’ needed for self-motivation
  • Discover some key techniques to self-motivate such as visualisation and affirmations
  • Learn how to eliminate limiting beliefs and how to feel empowered

ABOUT THE COURSE

In our experience a young person’s perception of the world is formed solely from their limited experience of their immediate surroundings – if all they have seen is ‘getting by’ they often believe that is the way life should be for them. Through practical application we will look at ways to eliminate the limiting beliefs that sadly plague today’s society. The learners will identify their own core beliefs and values and the impact these have on their motivation. They will learn that achievement is something to be proud of. In addition learners will discover some of the techniques available to generate self-motivation.

the belief that ‘I can achieve’. By learning practical techniques we can embed the
